Facebook “Likes” are something more than tools for knowing your popularity. They are, in fact, a measurement of how you have been successful in interacting with the audience and how many views have you got. Apparently, “Likes” help you see where you stand in terms of popularity with your fans and followers. Whether you are a hot property online or are you leaving them cold.
1. Like button on your website header:
Inserting the Like Button in the top-right or left corner of the website is a convenient method to get new Likes over the time. For a number of websites, this has proved to be a constant driver of Likes on a daily basis. It doesn’t help you in getting a ton of Likes all at once, however it will happen over the time.
2. Facebook Ads:
Ads from Facebook guarantees visibility of your brand to a highly targeted audience, making this feature a hot favourite for getting more number of likes. Unlike Google Adwords, Facebook Ads won’t present the ads only when a user is looking for the products or services that you have to offer. In fact, they will see the ad even while normal browsing.
3. Provide an Incentive to the Audience:
As mentioned earlier, in case of Facebook ads the audience will not be looking for the products or services. You need to lure them to take an action, and in return they will get something. You could provide some incentives in the form of contests, e-books or discount coupons, which if provided for free, will prove to be a rage with the audience.
4. Measure the performance:
You need to analyze and measure how successful have you been in your social media marketing campaign. Tools like Crowdbooster and Sproutsocial will help in this process. In addition to these, there are a number of other tools which have various KPI’s to check out for.
With the help of these tools, you could measure the success of your posts. It also forms a very vital part to know at the best time you could share the content to get maximum exposure, which is based on the number of audience who visit your page at various time of the day.
The game is not only about gaining more and more ‘likes’. The number of likes only means how successful have you been in encouraging the customers to remain engaged with your brand. What determines your social media success is how you interact with your user base. These are the most basic, but very useful and easy tactics which could be incorporated into your social media marketing campaign.
