Our company had organized a 2 day trip (23rd March 13 to 24th March 13)to Mount Abu for all the team leaders. We really had a great experience of visiting this wonderful place, a great hill station situated in Sirohi district Rajasthan. It is the best picturesque and scenic hill station of Rajasthan that draws a large number of tourists not only from India, but also from all over the world. We were 16 people, the whole group was divided into three groups. We started our journey at around 7:00 a.m. by three cars. On our way, we enjoyed outstanding views, splendid natural scenes, lush greenery and wonderful weather.
We first visited the Amba Mata Temple, which is considered as one of holiest and a major Shakti peeth of India. After that we again started our journey and reached Mount Abu where we took some rest and had our lunch. Now, we started to explore this hilarious hill station, we visited guru shikhar, nakki lake and enjoyed boating. In the evening, we got amazed by the scenic view of the setting sun at the sunset point. After enjoying all the day, we spent our night at a resort. In the next morning we went to the main market for shopping. The market here is another very famous attraction where the shoppers can find a large number of shops with a variety of Rajasthani and Gujarati articles. Then we moved back to Ahmedabad. It was a great experience of exploring this great place.
